It's a girl! First baby born in Portland of 2013

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A healthy baby girl named Jasmine was the first baby born in Portland in 2013.

Jasmine Morozova came into the world at 12:39 a.m. Tuesday at Adventist Medical Center's Family Birth Center. She weighs 7 pounds 3 ounces.

Both baby and mother are doing well, according to hospital staff.
