McMinnville police made seven arrests linked to drug and theft cases in the area.

It all started at 9 a.m. Monday when police received a tip about a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Subway on Booth Bend Road.

Officers followed up and searched the vehicle. Police said several pieces of stolen property from recent crimes in McMinnville were found inside, along with methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia.

Officers said two people in the car had felony warrants for their arrest. A total of four people were arrested as a result of the traffic stop.

They are: Ronald Griffin Jr., 30; Justin Maul, 25; Sarah Colvin, 23; and Dustin Keith, 29.

Officers then investigated a location on Highway 99W in Amity connected to the case. The parts of a previously stolen and stripped car from McMinnville were found and additional charges will follow against the suspects, according to police.

The following day, after receiving additional information related to the arrests, officers stopped two cars on the south end of McMinnville. Police said they found heroin, methamphetamine and $1,900 in cash in the cars.

Three more people were arrested.

They are: Benjamin Smith, 33; Aldo Trochez, 24; and Arielle Cronin, 22.

Anyone with information about these connected cases is asked to call McMinnville police at 503-434-7307.
