PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man who attacked another man outside a hookah bar must go to anger management classes.
Mujo Selava pleaded guilty Wednesday to third-degree assault. Deputies said he attacked an 18-year-old outside the PDX Hookah Bar in Raleigh Hills in July.
Investigators said the victim was attacked for talking to Selava's girlfriend.
Selava took the victim to the ground and hit him several times. Deputies said Eldin Seferovic joined in the attack and kicked the victim in the face.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Selava was sentenced to alcohol and anger treatment and is not to have any contact with the defendant or Seferovic. He also is not allowed to go into any hookah bar or alcohol bar.
He was given credit for time already served and will be on probation for three years.
Seferovic is due in court Jan. 22 for a change of plea hearing in this case.
