18-year-old arrested in carjacking case in NE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police arrested an 18-year-old man after a carjacking in Northeast Portland. It started at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at 18201 Northeast Portal Way. The victim reported a man punched her and took the keys to her car.

As officers were on the way, they observed a car matching the stolen car at Northeast 122nd and Airport Way. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop and took 18-year-old Devon Mack into custody.

He was arrested on several charges including robbery, drunk driving and reckless driving. He will be arraigned on Thursday.
