VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

A woman and her boyfriend have been identified as the people killed in a kayaking accident on the Columbia River.

A woman's body was found below the Glenn Jackson Bridge last Friday morning. Vancouver police identified her Thursday as Teddi Watanabe, 51, of Vancouver.

Her body was discovered by Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife workers. They said she was wearing outdoor clothing and a floatation device, but no wetsuit.

Police said a second body was discovered and identified Thursday as Bradley Lynch, 50, of Gresham. His body was found along Evergreen Highway near Ellsworth Road.

Investigators said he had been considered a missing person before his body was found.

Vancouver police said he also was not wearing a wetsuit or the type of clothing that would make surviving in the frigid water possible.

Watanabe and Lynch were dating, according to police.

Officers do not believe there is anything criminal involved in this case.
