Pot vending machines may be headed to Washington

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A California company is looking to take advantage of Washington's new pot law.

Medbox wants to install vending machines with pot for recreational users. The devices are currently for medical marijuana patients only. A user's fingerprint and prescription are required to use the machines.

The company also hopes to install the machines in Colorado, where a similar law passed in November.
