Freezing rain creating dangerous driving on I-84

TROUTDALE, OR (KPTV) -

Freezing rain is creating dangerous driving conditions on Interstate 84 east of Troutdale Thursday night.

There are reports of multiple crashes, including a confirmed rollover crash involving a semi and another vehicle. Fortunately, emergency crews said no one was hurt in that crash.

Fox 12 meteorologists said rain showers are falling as freezing rain east of Troutdale, including in Corbett, Bridal Veil and at Multnomah Falls.

ODOT crews are deicing the roads in that area and posting warnings on readerboards.

It's still slightly too warm for any similar weather to hit the Portland metro area at this point.
