PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man stabbed during an argument over a game of beer pong on New Year's remains in a Portland hospital Friday.

Police said Cole Miller, 23, is now in good condition as he continues to recover from serious stab wounds.

Investigators said he was dropped off at the emergency room at 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers responded and learned he was stabbed after a fight with another man over the drinking game beer pong.

Investigators said the victim didn't actually realize he'd been stabbed until his friends noticed he was bleeding and drove him to the hospital.

They were at a house party somewhere near Northeast 82nd and Fremont, but officers said they were not able to locate a crime scene.

If you know anything about the case, you are asked to call detectives at 503-823-3761.
