GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
Gresham Police have made an arrest after a robbery at the Sterling Savings Bank on NE 181st Ave. on Saturday.
It happened Jan. 5 around noon when after bank employees called to report the robbery.
Police say during the robbery, the suspect handed the bank teller a note demanding money. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. According to a witness, the suspect had entered a business across the street from the bank.
Police arrested 36-year-old Andrew Bassett of Portland shortly after.
He was arrested and taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center.
