PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A teenager accused of exposing himself outside a southeast Portland school was taken into custody by school workers until police arrived at the scene.
It started at 12:30 p.m. Monday outside the Creative Science School at Southeast 92nd and Main Street.
Police said the 17-year-old boy exposed himself and was publicly masturbating.
As officers were on the way, they learned school staff and a good Samaritan followed the suspect and kept him there until police arrived.
The suspect does not speak English. Officers put him in handcuffs and took him to his home so that someone could translate for them.
Based on their contact with the suspect's parents, he was released to them and the case was forwarded to the juvenile court.
