JUNTURA, OR (KPTV) -
A semitrailer filled with beer crashed on an ice-covered road in eastern Oregon Tuesday.
It happened at 8:30 a.m. near the line separating Malheur and Harney counties.
Troopers said the truck was traveling downhill when the driver lost control negotiating a left curve. The road was covered with ice and the semi traveled off the right shoulder and the trailer then overturned across the highway.
The driver, Frederick Stadel, 27, of Elizabethtown, KY, was wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt. He was driving for CR England Trucking Company.
The highway was blocked for more than two hours.
No citations were issued.
