Two people are behind bars for reportedly stealing baggage from Portland International Airport.
Port of Portland police and Vancouver police worked together to arrest Lee Caballero, 32, and Danielle Cramer, 29, at their home on the 9600 block of Southeast Seventh Street in Vancouver.
At about 10:30 a.m., neighbors noticed multiple officers converging on the street and heard officers using a loud speaker to ask the suspects to come out.
Police said they had to force their way inside and once they did, they found six suitcases and other items - all allegedly stolen from PDX.
"My hope is that house will be cleaned up, cleared out and this neighborhood can get back to normal," said a neighbor who witnessed the arrest and did not want to be identified.
Port of Portland police said their months-long investigation led them to the house and they believe the suspects may be involved in 15 cases of baggage theft at PDX since last May.
This case is not related to the baggage theft arrests made over the weekend, police said.
Police are still working to reunite victims with their stolen goods.
