LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -
Longview police arrested a man after a standoff at a house on Julie Place in Longview.
Police responded to the house on a domestic violence disturbance call.
Yusef Maxwell, 26, barricaded himself inside the house, had ingested pills and threatened that he had a gun.
Law enforcement attempted to contact Maxwell in the house with loudspeakers but he would not respond.
SWAT negotiators were able to make contact with Maxwell and eventually he came out of the house.
Maxwell was arrested on assault and malicious mischief charges.
