A significant winter storm will move through Ohio tonight
and tomorrow brushing the Toledo Metro Area.
There is a chance of light rain and snow showers this
evening and tonight. Temperatures will drop into the mid 20s. All or most activity will occur south of Toledo. Little to no activity will occur near or north of the Ohio/Michigan border.
Expect a mix of some ice pellets and snowflakes resulting in icy/slushy road conditions. Still, there will be little accumulation tonight because the ground is still a bit too warm. Snow will likely melt on contact with a few icy patches developing. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 20s.
Highs fail to rise above the freezing point Friday. Snow will pick up in intensity midday and into the afternoon hours. Some times there will be low visibility, otherwise, snowfall will taper off just after rush hour and into the evening.
A very cold weekend is ahead. Lows temperatures may
drop to near 10 degrees by Sunday morning.
