A FIRST ALERT DAY has been issued for Wednesday.

A wintry mix with snow, sleet and freezing rain will be possible this morning, mainly south of Toledo and the Ohio Turnpike.

Total snow accumulations will be around 1" with additional sleet and a glaze of ice accumulation through the morning commute.  This will cause delays and hazardous travel, where snow and ice persist.

An icy mix possible again Friday morning, then rain into the afternoon.

Heavier rain late Saturday and into Sunday morning. Highs this weekend in the 40s.
