Fire crews called to SE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland family is safe after they came home to find smoke coming out of their back windows.

Portland Fire and Rescue said they received the call around 1 p.m. Wednesday. Fire crews were able to quickly put out the fire, and investigators say the blaze was sparked by an appliance failure.
