SUBLIMITY, OR (KPTV) -
Marion County deputies are searching for a man they say tried to coerce several kids to his car. It happened at Sublimity Elementary School Thursday morning, they said.
The man approached several school kids in his car, school officials said. He didn't come onto the property, but he did try to coax the kids to his car by showing off a soccer ball and asking it if belonged to them, they said.
A teacher noticed the man and tried to confront him, deputies said. But the man sped off. He was driving a 1990's dark green Toyota Camry. He was wearing a dark colored baseball hat and glasses, and had salt-and-pepper-colored hair and beard.
