One burned in Sheridan house fire

SHERIDAN, OR (KPTV) -

Twenty firefighters from Sheridan and the West Valley Fire District worked to extinguish a house fire Thursday evening on Southeast Jefferson Street.

By the time crews arrived, the home was engulfed in flames.

One person suffered minor burns but did not have to go to the hospital.

Investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire. Meanwhile, the Red Cross is now helping the family.
