Trail Blazers want to sell Rose Garden naming rights

Posted: Updated:

The Portland Trail Blazers are looking for a company to put its name on the Rose Garden arena.

The Blazers have partnered with Premier Partnerships, a sports sales and advisory firm, to search for a naming rights partner.
"Finding a naming rights partner for the Rose Garden is one of our priorities entering the new calendar year," said Trail Blazers President Chris McGowan.

McGowan said he's confident the Blazers will find a company that the "city of Portland the Trail Blazers brand can proudly associate with."

In the past, Premier Partnerships have lined up the following sports venues: Coliseum in Oakland, PPL Park in Philadelphia, Viejas Arena at San Diego State University and Pizza Hut Park in Dallas. Premier also secured the naming rights of Dolby Theatre (home of the Academy Awards) and TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman's Chinese Theatre).
