CARLTON, OR (KPTV) -
Yamhill County deputies found a man stabbed in a church's parking lot in Carlton early Monday morning.
Investigators said it happened at 2 a.m. outside the Carlton Community Church, 500 E. Main St.
The suspect initially got away, according to deputies, but turned himself in a short time later. The man has not been identified and is not yet facing any charges.
The victim remained at the hospital Monday afternoon. Deputies did not have an update on his condition.
Investigators said the two men appear to be acquaintances of a third person, who was not involved in the stabbing.
The investigation is continuing into this case.
