Arrest made in North Portland crash

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland man has been arrested and is facing charges for a deadly crash that happened in North Portland.

Police say 39-year-old Eleno Guillen was driving on North Argyl Way near Columbia Boulevard when he lost control, went down an embankment and slammed into a telephone pole.

The crash happened Jan. 9.

One of the passengers, Adan Gonzalez, died at the scene.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Guillen faces Manslaughter, Assault, DUII, and reckless driving charges.
