PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are trying to figure out who slashed the tires on 14 cars in Southeast Portland's Richmond neighborhood.

Officers got the call at around 5 a.m. Tuesday and responded to Southeast Franklin Street near 31st.

The caller reported hearing something outside and seeing two people walking quickly toward the east on Franklin.

Police checked the area and discovered 14 cars with slashed tires.

Officers said the two people seen leaving the area were about 5'7" tall and wearing dark clothes.

It's not clear if the pair were possible suspects, police said.

Though the initial count of vandalized cars was 14, FOX 12 found an additional car with tires slashed near 33rd Avenue and Brooklyn Street.
