Vancouver roommates sentenced in prostitution case

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

A man who pleaded guilty to unlawful imprisonment amidst sex trafficking allegations was sentenced to 14 months in prison.

Kenneth White pleaded guilty in court Jan. 10. He was arrested, along with Dorothy Phillips, in Vancouver in March 2012.

They were accused of prostituting a 17-year-old girl.

As part of White's plea deal, all sex trafficking-related charges were dismissed. He will get credit for more than 270 days already served behind bars as part of his sentence delivered Monday.

Phillips pleaded guilty to permitting prostitution and harassment in the form of death threats. She was immediately sentenced to three months in jail with credit for all but six days as time served.

Those remaining six days were set to be served in the form of community service.
