PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A water main break in northeast Portland led to some murky water for people living in the area.
Crews from the Portland Water Bureau responded to the scene at Northeast 22nd and Highland Street Tuesday morning. The workers shut off the water to the pipeline and worked to repair the 8-inch diameter pipe.
The water bureau said they were able to redirect water flows to keep service going to much of the area. However, some homes on Holman, Highland, Liberty and Rosa Parks Way may have been temporarily without water or faced low water pressure.
Customers in the area reported dirty water coming out of their faucets because of the water main break.
