PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Investigators have identified the woman found dead in a north Portland park Monday.
Wendy Loren, 63, was found near a maintenance building at 10:30 a.m. Homicide detectives were called to the scene, but police later determined the woman died of hypothermia.
Detectives said she lived in the 4600 block of North Michigan Avenue and may have wandered away from her home not properly dressed for the cold weather.
Investigators believe Loren either got confused or got lost wandering in the neighborhood and ended up in the park.
No foul play is suspected in her death.
North Kerby Avenue was closed between Ainsworth Street and Rosa Parks Way during the investigation, along with parts of Peninsula Park.
