TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -
A suspected drunk driver left a trail of destruction in his path through Tualatin. After witnesses reported several incidents to police, they were led to Kevin Ritchie, 24, and his GMC truck.
Police first responded to reports of a crash on Southwest Martinazzi Avenue. That's where Ritchie is suspected of driving recklessly before crashing into another car. On Southwest Avery Street, another witness reported seeing Ritchie drive onto a roundabout and into a city-owned sign. After running a red light at Southwest Martinazzi Avenue and Southwest Warm Springs Street, witnesses also reported seeing Ritchie come close to hitting a pedestrian.
No injuries were sustained, but police believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in Ritchie's erratic driving.
He now stands charged with DUII, hit-and-run and reckless driving.
