HUBBARD, OR (KPTV) -
Deputies have identified a man shot during a SWAT standoff in Hubbard.
Paul Smith, 46, was treated for his gunshot wound and released from the hospital. He was then booked at the Clackamas County Jail.
Authorities were called to a home near Meridian Road and Whiskey Hill Road at 9:15 Sunday after receiving a call about a man making suicidal threats with a gun.
Just before 2 a.m., the man was shot by a member of the SWAT team and taken into custody. Nobody else was hurt.
Smith was provided services by Clackamas County Community Health while in jail. He was released from custody Tuesday and health workers will follow up with him.
Detectives are continuing to investigate as they consider possible criminal charges against Smith.
