PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The Transportation Security Administration is looking to put people to work in Portland.
The TSA is recruiting part-time security officers to work at Portland International Airport. An information session will be hosted for interested applicants at 7 p.m. Jan 24 at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel, 8235 NE Airport Way.
The starting pay is $14.72 per hour and includes medical and dental benefits.
Applicants must have U.S. citizenship or be a U.S. national with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Proficiency in English is also a requirement of the job. A background check, credit check and drug test will be required for qualified applicants.
