Beaverton crash wipes out signs, tree

BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

Beaverton police responded to a car crash that took out a tree and several street signs before finally coming to a stop in a yard.

It happened at around 4:25 p.m. Thursday at Southwest Lombard Avenue and Iron Horse Lane.

Police said the unidentified driver left a car wash and lost control, leading to the collisions. Police said the driver and passenger were both elderly and were taken to the hospital to get checked out.
