Timbers select former U-23 defender in MLS SuperDraft

INDIANAPOLIS (KPTV) -

The Portland Timbers selected defender Dylan Tucker-Gangnes in Thursday's 2013 Major League Soccer SuperDraft in Indianapolis, IN.

Tucker-Gangnes was the No. 34 overall pick in the second round, and was the Timbers only pick in the draft. The team acquired the selection in a trade with the San Jose Earthquakes.

Tucker-Gangnes previously played for the Timbers U-23 team and was a standout at the University of Washington.
