Chip Kelly left the Ducks this week to become coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
EUGENE, OR (KPTV) -
A candidate for the University of Oregon Ducks' next football coach has emerged.
Stanford's offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton interviewed with the Ducks on Friday, according to multiple reports.
CBS Sports reported Hamilton has also interviewed recently for the vacant offensive coordinator positions with the New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts.
The Ducks are looking for a replacement for Chip Kelly, who left Oregon to become the Philadelphia Eagles head coach earlier this week.
There's no word yet on whether the Ducks have conducted a formal interview with current offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich. He is thought to be one of the leading candidates for the job.
