THE DALLES, OR (KPTV) -
The Dalles police tell FOX 12 that just before noon on Monday they received a call about a man that broke into a trailer and refused to get out.
Officers called the SERT team to assist them in resolving the incident.
After a nearly two-hour stand off, they used tear gas to try to force the suspect out of the trailer, investigators say.
That's when, police say, the man ran out of the trailer. He was arrested without further incident.
The man has been hospitalized and will be booked after receiving treatment.
Police say the suspect is facing burglary charges among other outstanding warrants.
