WILSONVILLE, OR (KPTV) -
An Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper found 14 pounds of marijuana inside a Washington man's car during a traffic stop near Wilsonville early Wednesday morning, investigators said.
The trooper pulled over Saint Tito Michael Shortland, 36, from Parkland, WA, for traffic violations just before 12:30 a.m. northbound along Interstate 5 at the Baldock Rest Area.
With the help of a Clackamas County Sheriff's Office drug detection dog, authorities found the drugs hidden inside the car, OSP told FOX 12.
The estimated value of the seized marijuana is $30,000.
Shortland was taken into custody without incident for unlawful possession and distribution of a controlled substance - marijuana.
He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail.
