BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

The State Crime Lab has released new details about the vehicle that hit and killed a teen in Beaverton last week.

Harley Rocher, 18, of Aloha, was found in the road at Southwest Laurelwood Avenue and Homewood Street just before 8 p.m. Jan. 15.

The driver took off and Rocher's family has pleaded for someone to come forward in the case.

Investigators now say the vehicle that hit and killed Rocher was teal or turquoise green. The suspected vehicle should have damage to the passenger side, but the extent of the damage is unknown.

Rocher was a technician at America's Tire in Beaverton. Beers said he took public transportation to and from work. Part of his route home involved walking on Southwest Laurelwood Avenue.

There are no streetlights on this stretch of Laurelwood Avenue, which connects Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Southwest Beaverton Hillsdale Highway.

If you have any information that can help with the investigation, call Beaverton police at 503-629-0111.
