PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are working to track down a man accused of trying to take photos up a woman's skirt at a northeast Portland department store.

The victim told police she was at Ross Dress for Less at 9916 N.E. Halsey St. on Jan. 13 when she noticed a man crouching down behind her very closely in the children's section.

She confronted him and he walked away. The woman was then in the checkout line when the suspect, who was now behind her, was asked to leave the store by an employee.

"I asked the manager why he had to leave, and he told me it was because he caught him trying to take pictures up my skirt," said Karimina Salle-Bybee.

"He told me at one point the suspect was following me around the store and reaching two aisles over and underneath clothes to take a picture," said Salle-Bybee.

Store security cameras captured images of the suspect.

He is described as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, standing 5'9" tall and 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and he was wearing black dress pants, black dress shoes and a black rain coat.

Salee-Bybee says the incident has left her scared to go shopping alone, and she haunted by the thought that those pictures could be out there somewhere, along with the suspect.

"It makes me sick, I felt like I was going to throw up, and then to see he had kid stuff with him, I hope he doesn't have kids. It disgusts me to think that," said Salle-Bybee

If you recognize him call Portland police or email CrimeTips@PortlandOregon.gov and reference case number 13-5036.
