Rams hoops teams get much needed sweep over Claflin - KPTV - FOX 12

Saturday ended up being a day that both Albany St. basketball teams needed as the hoops teams swept two games at home against Claflin.

The ASU men got their 3rd win in 4 games with a 74-66 win. Justin Wilcox scored a team high 21 points while Jaren Harris added 17 points in the 8 point victory. The Rams are now 4-11 overall and 3-6 in SIAC play.  Meanwhile, the Lady Rams got another incredible performance from sophomore guard April Thomas in their 69-66 win.  Thomas poured in 28 points.  Kourtney Alexander was 4-6 from downtown and added 14.  The Lady Rams improved to 7-10 overall and 5-4 in the SIAC. 

Both ASU teams will host Clark Atlanta on Thursday.
