Troopers seize nearly 40 pounds of marijuana

DESCHUTES COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

An Idaho man has been arrested after Oregon State Police troopers say he had nearly 40 pounds of marijuana.

Troopers say they stopped John Scott Thursday, Jan. 24 near Bend on Highway 20.

Upon investigation, officers say they discovered and seized approximately 40 pounds of marijuana concealed in the vehicle.

Scott has been arrested and placed in the Deschutes County Jail on charges of unlawful manufacture, possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
