CLACKAMAS, OR (KPTV) -
A Milwaukie teenager has been arrested and accused of holding a knife to a woman's neck during a bank robbery.
It happened at KeyBank's Sunnyside branch in Clackamas on Monday afternoon.
Investigators said the man approached a teller with a large silver knife held to a woman's throat. The victim was a customer.
Deputies said the man demanded money, which the teller gave to him. The suspect then took off.
Salvador Ramirez Navarro, 17, of Milwaukie, walked into the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office public safety training center at 1 p.m. Tuesday and told the front desk worker he was wanted for the robbery.
Detectives and patrol deputies went to the location and took Navarro into custody. He then gave a full voluntary statement admitting to the robbery, according to detectives.
Navarro was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on the charge of first-degree robbery, a Measure 11 crime.
He was then transported to the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Center to be lodged overnight at the recommendation of the Clackamas County Juvenile Department.
A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday to determine the appropriate place for him to remain in custody.
Investigators said they have not recovered any of the stolen money and are looking into the potential that the teen was provided assistance during the last 24 hours.
If you know anything about this case, call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office at 503-723-4949.
