Man charged with woman's murder remains on the loose

Posted: Updated:

The neighbor of a woman found dead in her rural Washington County home in December is accused of her murder.

A grand jury indicted Robert Hardison Tuesday. He is accused of killing Theresa Fronsman on Dec. 12, 2012.

Deputies have been searching for Hardison since the woman's death, but he remains on the loose.

The warrant for his arrest accuses him of aggravated murder and burglary.

Fronsman's body was discovered by her husband at their home on Northwest Pumpkin Ridge Road north of North Plains. Deputies said the 50-year-old woman was shot and killed.

Detectives immediately asked for help locating Hardison, who has not been seen since the afternoon of Dec. 12. He was originally considered someone with information critical to the investigation before being charged with murder.

If you know where he is, call deputies at 503-846-2500.
