SANDY, OR (KPTV) -
A natural gas leak at the Fred Meyer store in Sandy led fire crews to evacuate the store Thursday morning.
Crews rushed to the store on 362nd Avenue after a gas line in the storage area was ruptured, possibly by a forklift.
Firefighters have shut off the flow of gas and Northwest Natural Gas crews were en route.
The Fred Meyer Store is currently closed, though the gas station remains open.
Sandy police are helping secure the perimeter at the scene.
