Clark County officials close section of NW 179th St.

CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

Clark County has closed a 650-foot section of Northwest 179^th Street after the threat of a landslide on the north side of the road.

Access remains open to all with homes in the area; however, the county is telling commuters to detour south onto Northwest 169^th Street by using Northwest 41^st and 51^st avenues.

County officials say that the section will remain closed until further notice.
