LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -
A three-car crash that sheared off a fire hydrant in Longview sent water shooting into the sky.
It happened at 1:10 p.m. Friday at 32nd Avenue and Michigan Street. Police said a car ran a stop sign and hit two other vehicles.
The initial car then hit the fire hydrant and struck a utility pole.
The water main was damaged, causing an extreme amount of water to flood the intersection.
The intersection was expected to be closed until at least 5 p.m. Friday.
Police did not release whether anyone was hurt or if any arrests were made.
