Portland fire crews put out a early morning garage fire and were looking into the cause Saturday.
It started around 3:40 a.m. in a detached garage near a home on 47th Avenue near Ramona Street.
Crews took out the garage door and used hoses to put the fire out and had the blaze under control at around 3:55 p.m.
"We could see the smoke from a few blocks away and knew we had to extinguish the fire quickly before it extended to any other structures." Said Portland Fire & Rescue Lieutenant Greg Holsinger.
No one was hurt.
As of Saturday morning fire crews were investigating the cause of blaze as well as a damage estimate.
