A body found floating near Rocky Pointe Marina in northwest Portland has been recovered by sheriff's deputies.
River patrol deputies were notified about the body Wednesday at 12:20 p.m.
Deputies said the man's body was found at the north end of the middle marina at Rocky Pointe Marina, which is located on St. Helens Road, west of Sauvie Island.
The harbormaster there was able to hold the body against the dock until deputies arrived.
Detectives are now investigating, and the body will be turned over to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office.
The sheriff's office hasn't released the man's name.
