Christopher Mack
EUGENE, OR (KPTV) -
Eugene police have arrested a sex abuse suspect they believe was involved in at least one attack near the University of Oregon campus.
Springfield police assisted in the arrest of Christopher Mack Wednesday. He was identified as a suspect for an attack on Aug. 23, 2012 after the release of a composite sketch, according to Eugene police.
The victim reported a man approached her while she was walking near campus and asked for directions. When she did not answer, police said the suspect grabbed her from behind, grabbed her chest and thrust his hips into her lower back.
A campus crime alert was distributed to students warning of a similar incident and a report of indecent exposure in the area. Police are continuing to investigate and Mack is not charged in those cases at this time.
