Investigators have identified the body found floating at Rocky Pointe Marina as a man reported missing Jan. 13.
The body of Steven Gifford, 59, of Scappoose, was found Wednesday afternoon at the north end of the marina on Northwest St. Helens Road in Portland.
The cause of death is drowning and the manner of death was ruled an accident by the medical examiner's office.
Deputies put out a notice about Gifford last month. He was last seen Jan. 11 on the docks at the Rocky Pointe Marina. He was reported missing two days later. Dive teams searched the area, but did not locate him.
