Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue needs volunteers

TIGARD, OR (KPTV) -

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue is looking for a few good volunteers.

Those wanting to pitch in some of their time can do so either as a Core Volunteer Firefighter or as an Auxiliary Volunteer. Core volunteers respond to incidents and maintain equipment. Auxiliary volunteers step in to help out with community service and public education.

Those who are interested can attend TVF&R's Volunteer Interest Night to learn more about the programs. It will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at 11945 SW 70th Ave. in Tigard.

Applications for volunteers will become available Tuesday, Feb. 12. They can be found at www.tvfr.com.
