WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -
The Woodburn Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Police said it happened Saturday just after 7 p.m. on Highway 214 over Interstate 5 near the Woodburn Company Outlets.
When officers arrived, they found a minor accident that had turned into an altercation.
It was during the altercation that police said Lejeune Bryant, 37, of Woodburn, was shot several times.
He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police determined Ethan Corey, 31, of Tigard, had opened fire during the altercation. He was detained and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation continues and the case has been forwarded to the Marion County District Attorney's Office.
