WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -

Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked a shooting on a Woodburn overpass on Saturday night.

Ethan Carey shot Lejeune Bryant several times after the two got into a minor car crash, Woodburn police said.

Woodburn detectives said they are going to leave it up to the grand jury to decide if charges are going to be pressed in this case.

The shooting happened at about 7 p.m. on Saturday. Officers detained Carey at the scene and he was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Carey has not been charged yet with anything related to this shooting.

Bryant, who is a model in Portland, was shot multiple times and paramedics took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was listed in fair condition Monday night.

Carey, the alleged shooter, has no prior criminal history, and police are not calling this a case of road rage.
