West Linn, Lake Oswego make list of safest cities

WEST LINN, OR (KPTV) -

West Linn has been recognized as the 36th safest city in the nation, according to a new study. Lake Oswego came in at No. 84.

Every year, Location Inc. publishes a list of the top 100 Safest Cities in America, based on the number of crimes per 1,000 residents in cities with a population of at least 25,000.

West Linn and Lake Oswego are the only two Oregon cities to appear on this year's list.
