A Portland man will be spending the next several years behind bars.
Monday, a United States District Judge sentenced Rodger Strampher to 18 years in prison for producing images of a child being sexually abused.
Back in June, Strampher pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography after investigators found a connection between him and another couple found guilty of producing child pornography.
After being released from custody, Strampher will serve a 20-year period of supervised release and must follow several rules, including no contact with minors and restricted access to the Internet.
